Training Workshop on Export Procedures

The PSC held on the 3rd of October 2013 a training workshop on Export Procedures that aimed to equip the Palestinian business people with a solid and practical background about International markets, export procedures, formalities, documents, declarations and clearance, beside the trade agreements to representatives from both Public and private sectors.

The course was delivered by two different trainers; Mr. Roddy Feely a principle consultant from Bellevue Creative Solutions Ltd, who has over 25 years of experience working in International Markets across a number of industry sectors including Food, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Luxury Goods, and Agriculture, in addition to Consulting Services that include Business Strategy & Planning, Exporting & International Marketing, Business Development, Training, Coaching, and Mentoring, and Mr. Munier Hashoul who is the owner of “Marathom Cargo Ltd.”; and the only Arab Customs agent in Israel. Mr. Hashoul is a tax consultant, and has an international trade and logistics background.

Participants held a representative cross section of positions; within international Organizations, Public Sector Institutions, Chambers of Commerce, Private sector companies from importers and exporters, Freight Forwarders and Custom Clearing Agencies, Educational Institutions, Financial Institutions; and Media.

In total 42 people attended the workshop, and were participative and satisfied with the training. They were provided with a lot of opportunities to discuss their experiences and quires. More importantly, they were really happy with the discussion and presentations.
