The Palestinian Shippers Council and the Center of Continuing Education in Birzeit University (CCE) have celebrated the graduation of the first batch of a Professional Training Program entitled Supply Chain Management 5-March-2015

 

 

The Palestinian Shippers’ Council and the Center of Continuing Education in Birzeit University (CCE) have celebrated the graduation of the first batch of a Professional Training Program entitled "Supply Chain Management" 5-March-2015

The Palestinian Shippers’ Council in Partnership with the Ministry of National Economy (MoNE), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and in cooperation with the center of Continuing Education in Birzeit University (CCE) has developed a Professional Training Program entitled '’ Supply Chain Management’’.

The Program has been developed in response to the PSC member, and business women in particular. Seeking to fill the knowledge gap at all stages of maritime, air, land and related transport logistical chain, the PSC aims to increase skills and abilities of Palestinian traders to manage import and export of Palestinian goods, to reduce wasted cost and time.
Moreover, the training unit focuses on transferring technical and practical knowledge to Palestinian Business women, to enhance their capabilities, encourage their participation in International trade and finally highlight gender equality through facilitating procedures and connecting with Local Ministries and trade related parties. The final objective of the program is to enable women entrepreneurs to independently and efficiently manage the whole supply chain.
